The Long stay temporary visa program offers you the opportunity to work in Australia for any period from three months up to four years. The program is designed to fill shortages in the Australian labour market and there are dozens of suitable occupations. You need to be sponsored by an Australian employer to be eligible for this visa and Skill Channel can assist you through the entire process.


Finding the right job

Skill Channel can find you employment with an Australian employer. Select a position from our list of vacancies. If you meet the education and experience requirements for the position of interest, and pass the recruitment process, you will be made an offer to start work, pending the completion of the visa application process.


The visa application process

All visa applicants are subject to a rigorous assessment by the Department of Immigration. The application may take some weeks to finalise. In most cases you are able to travel to Australia during the visa application process and have the visa granted after your arrival, or you may wait for the process to be completed before you leave.
