on Australia's working holiday program
Australia's Working Holiday
Maker program aims to promote international understanding. It provides
opportunities for resourceful, self-reliant and adaptable young people
to holiday in Australia and to supplement their funds through incidental
employment.
To be eligible:
- You must have not turned 31
- You must not have any dependants
- You need to have sufficient funds (currently around 3600 Euros)
- You must hold a valid passport.
It is recommended your passport be valid for at least six months.
- Under normal circumstances you will not need to do a medical examination.
If you will be working in the health industry, you will be required
to undergo a full medical. Skill Channel will arrange these for you.
- Your visa application charge will be debited against your nominated
credit card details.
- Your visa application charge is not refundable once your application
has been submitted.
- You must be outside Australia when you apply and at the time a decision
is made on your application.

- Work should be incidental to your holiday.

- You may study or train for up to 3 months.
- You may change to another visa type after arriving in Australia
(e.g if you are offered a long term contract).
Payment
The main mode of payment available
through Skill Channel is by credit card online. Other forms of payment
may be made to our office in Sydney.
You will be asked to enter your credit card details to pay the charge
after you have completed the online application form.
Processing
Normally your application will be processed within 48 hours. If additional
processing is required such as medical requirements, it may take up to
4 weeks for your application to be finalised.
Approval
